Fairchild's Female Fab Four: Senior Airman Kiara Cyrus Published March 26, 2015 By Airman 1st Class Taylor Bourgeous 92nd Air Refueling Wing Public Affairs FAIRCHILD AIR FORCE BASE, Wash. -- Editor's note: This is the last of four stories featuring female members of Team Fairchild who have been recognized during Women's History Month as outstanding contributors to the local community. Senior Airman Kiara Cyrus, Pre-Medical student at Whitworth University, was selected as one of four Fairchild Air Force Base women to be recognized during Women's History Month. Cyrus was active duty for three years before exiting to attend school full time under the Yellow Ribbon Program. While on active duty, Cyrus was promoted to Senior Airman "Below-the-Zone," graduated from the Community College of the Air Force, was a Family Health Clinic team lead and also served as a shift lead on the Ambulance Crew. With Cyrus being in the Yellow Ribbon program, she still receives military benefits while being able to attend school full time. She plans to enter medical school and would like to reenter the Air Force as a commissioned officer. Cyrus has demonstrated many qualities of being a great role model for not just women, but for Airmen everywhere.
