The following data includes brief descriptions of sexual misconduct followed by disciplinary action issued to the guilty party. Outcomes are grouped by year and sorted by month.
Results of Courts-Martial
Sexual Assault and Abusive Sexual Contact, Article 120, UCMJ – An Airman First Class was charged with two specifications of sexual assault and one specification of abusive sexual contact after he caused another Airman to touch his genitalia and committed two penetrative sexual acts without the victim’s consent. After charges were referred to a General Court-Martial, the member was discharged with an Under Other Than Honorable Conditions discharge in lieu of trial by court-martial per a plea agreement.
Sexual Assault, Article 120, UCMJ – A Senior Airman sexually assaulted his civilian girlfriend by engaging in sexual intercourse with her on multiple occasions without her consent. The member received a Letter of Reprimand for this misconduct.
General Discharge, Sexual Assault – A Senior Airman sexually assaulted a civilian who was too intoxicated to be capable of consenting to sexual intercourse. The member received a Letter of Reprimand and was discharged with a General service characterization.
No qualifying disciplinary actions for sexual misconduct were completed between 1 December 2023 and 31 January 2024.
