Fairchild's Finest is a weekly recognition program that highlights top-performing Airmen.

Rank/Name:
Senior Airman Chloe Fiore

Unit of assignment:
336th Training Support Squadron

Duty title:
Student Management Assistant

Hometown and state:
Royal Air Force Alconbury, England

What do you do on a daily basis at Fairchild AFB?
I am responsible for processing all students that attend training at the Survival Evasion Resistance and Escape (SERE) school at Fairchild and all detachments, which totals about 15,000 students a year. We also provide statistics to Air Education and Training Command, reclassify students, and obtain travel arrangements.

What do you enjoy about your job?
I appreciate meeting new people every week and learning about the career fields that require SERE training. I also enjoy supporting Airmen in obtaining the correct training necessary to carry out their mission.

Why did you choose to serve in the military?
I chose to join the military for the independence and many opportunities that exist as well as to be the first woman in my family to serve our country.

Time in military:
Two years eight months

Goals you want to achieve or meet while at Fairchild AFB?
While stationed at Fairchild AFB, I would love to support the SERE mission to the best of my ability as well as learn about and contribute to the 92nd Air Refueling Wing mission in any way I can.

Your best habit:
My best habit is undeniably checking my work before submitting it. Whether that work is just an email or a class roster, I will triple check it to be sure it is 100% accurate.

Hobbies:
My favorite hobby is definitely physical fitness, as I work out at least five times a week. I enjoy spending time with my husband, puppy, friends and family when I get the chance.

Favorite Movies:
Lord of the Rings, The Dark Knight Trilogy, Harry Potter

Who is your favorite mentor and what did you learn from him/her?
My father, who is a retired Master Sgt., is my mentor because he understands the military lifestyle. He is the one I can call when I had a bad day at work, when I don't understand why I had to do something a certain way or when I just need advice to further my Air Force career or in life in general. He has always been there for me, and I know he will continue to be.
