6S spells success
Col. Robert Thomas, 92nd Air Refueling Wing commander, and Chief Master Sgt. David Nordel, 92nd ARW command chief, walk through 23,000 lbs of old desks, filing cabinets, and couches collected during the first day of 6S at Hangar 1023 Feb. 3. 6S stands for Sort, Straighten, Shine, Standardize, Sustain and Safety. It is an Air Force Smart Operations for the 21st Century tool to help get people organized which make tasks run more smoothly and efficiently, removing unused furniture and clutter, minimizing safety hazards. CPTS earns AMC, AF-level awards
FAIRCHILD AIR FORCE BASE, Wash. – Two members of the award-winning 92nd Comptroller Squadron, Senior Airman Joshua Williams and Staff Sgt. Richard Ingram, financial services technicians, help a customer at the finance help-desk. The 92nd CPTS earned the 2008 Air Mobility Command Finance Office of the Year award, and CPTS commander, Maj. Dental Squadron sergeant re-enlists at home
AIRWAY HEIGHTS, Wash. – Tech. Sgt. Michele Glaspie, from the 92nd Aeromedical Dental Squadron, receives a coin from the 92nd Air Refueling Wing vice commander, Col. Sterling donates 100 gifts to aid Fairchild families
