FAIRCHILD AIR FORCE BASE, Wash. – Members of a Navy Honor Guard, officially known as the Navy Ceremonial Guard, perform a 21-gun salute at the Spokane Arena Nov. 11. The honor guard was the closing event of the Veterans Day ceremonies held followed by the playing of taps. Veterans Day service recognizes servicemembers
FAIRCHILD AIR FORCE BASE, Wash. – Posters representing the five services of the armed forces are displayed on a stage at the Spokane Arena Nov. 11 during the Veteran’s Day celebration. The Guard Band of the Northwest played, two Airmen received Bronze Stars, two Soldiers received Purple Hearts and a Navy Honor Guard performed the 21-gun salute during the ceremony.
