  • Fairchild spouse, teen killed in off-base accident identified

    The wife and son of a Fairchild Airman, Capt. Daniel Normandin, 92nd Medical Operations Squadron, who were killed Saturday Jan. 7 in a vehicle-train collision near Medical Lake, Washington have been identified as Melissa Normandin, 45, and Jacob Normandin, 14. Both were pronounced dead at the scene.

  • Team Fairchild commemorates Wreaths Across America

    Representatives from Fairchild Air Force Base traveled to the Fort George Wright Cemetery and the Washington State Veterans Cemetery yesterday to pay honor to the veterans buried at the sites as part of the Wreaths Across America program. A nationally recognized day of observance to veterans, since
