Fairchild partners with Airway Heights to provide water to residents affected by water advisory

Fairchild Airmen joined City of Airway Heights officials and volunteers to hand out 24,000 gallons of bottled water procured by the Air Force that arrived today in Airway Heights.

Fairchild conducts additional groundwater sampling near base

Base officials sampled approximately 30 water wells located south and east of Fairchild AFB, May 8-10, to determine if they contain elevated levels of Perfluorooctanesulfonic (PFOS) and Perfluorooctanoic acids (PFOA).
