Varsity Basketball
Fairchild Varsity basketball team hopefuls listen intently to the rules of trying out, given by Steven Pitters at the Fitness Center Feb. 25. Try-outs are being held for the Fairchild Varsity basketball team through Feb. 27, as well as March 2 and 3, from 6 to 8 p.m. Active-duty members have top priority for try-outs, but civilians are welcome to give it a shot as well. For those interested in trying out, a completed Air Force Form 303 must be brought to the try-outs. One of the goals of the Varsity team is to compete against other local teams and eventually other Air Force Bases, Sergeant Smith said.
