The CATCH Program gives victims of sexual assault an anonymous opportunity to enter offender information into a database to catch previously unknown serial offenders who are active duty military. Victims may enter details into CATCH when reporting Restricted, Unrestricted (only if the name of the offender has not been reported to law enforcement or uncovered during an investigation), and even those who do not file a report with the SAPR Office. If there is a match, victims choose how to proceed: report Unrestricted (if not already done) so an investigation may begin, do nothing, or remove their entry from the CATCH database.

The Sexual Assault Prevention and Response (SAPR) Office supports adult victims of sexual assault, including active duty military, their dependents who are 18 years of age or older and eligible for healthcare in a Military Treatment Facility (MTF), and Department of Air Force civilians, both appropriated and nonappropriated. Resources and support services for Restricted and Unrestricted sexual assault reporting options, include advocacy, medical/mental healthcare, spiritual care, legal representation, and many other on and off base services. The SAPR Office also supports active duty military, National Guard and Reserve members who have been victims of sexual harassment in the work center. Restricted and Unrestricted reporting options are available, along with advocacy and support services. The Sexual Assault Response Coordinator (SARC) and the Victim Advocate (VA) work closely with leadership to ensure victims’ rights are a priority and use victim-focused and trauma-informed care to help victims navigate the SAPR process. Additionally, they provide essential support, liaison services, and care to the victim during the healing process.
