Airman and Mentor Network: An Eight-Week Journey
Airman 1st Class Clare Werner, center, a public affairs specialist assigned to the 92nd Air Refueling Wing, receives a graduation certificate from Col. Garret Bilbo, left, 92nd ARW deputy commander, and Chief Master Sgt. William Arcuri, right, 92nd ARW command chief, during the Airman and Mentor Network class graduation ceremony at Fairchild Air Force Base, Washington, Nov. 8, 2023. Werner, who has served in the Air Force for a little over one year, volunteered for the AMN program to meet new people and learn from them in an informal setting. During the eight-week course, junior Airmen learned about work and personal issues from noncommissioned officer mentors who presented information based on their area of expertise and provided opportunities for discussions with Airmen in other Air Force career fields.
