    Non-destructive inspections Airmen see the unseeable, keep KC-135 flying

    Airmen from the 92nd Maintenance Squadron NDI section are unique from other career fields because they use six different techniques to inspect aircraft parts without taking them apart, saving time while ensuring aircraft are safe. NDI methods include ultrasonic waves, fluorescent penetrant, magnetic particle inspection, radiography and eddy current to inspect aircraft parts for cracks, weak spots and many more issues.

    Red Cross volunteers bolster 92nd MDG

    Team Fairchild’s 92nd Medical Group has partnered with the American Red Cross to improve processes within the base clinic in order to ensure that all dependents receive care and that Airmen are mission ready.

    The Defense Equal Opportunity Climate Survey is available for Team Fairchild Airmen from Aug. 5-26, 2019. Airmen are able to provide feedback through the survey for commanders to evaluate and find ways to boost Airmen morale and productivity within their career fields.

    BTS of hydraulics, their Airmen

    Team Fairchild’s hydraulics shop Airmen have honed their craft, allowing them to safely and rapidly ensure that aircraft are in safe flying condition and prepared for takeoff on-time. Should something require repair prior to takeoff, these Airmen can respond and have the aircraft prepared to fly again within hours.
