The 92nd and 141st Maintenance Groups held a Spring Maintenance Olympics May 26. Twelve teams participated in a relay race competing for the best time, bragging rights and a small prize.

“The Maintenance Olympics have a positive impact on the mission, allowing the Airmen to step away from the mission for part of the day and rejuvenate themselves,” said Tech. Sgt. Timothy Barth, 92nd MXG fuel systems quality assurance inspector. “It is important due to the stressors these Airmen go through everyday ensuring the mission happens successfully.”

The relay race included various maintenance tasks such as checking a toolbox for quality assurance fails, retrieving a streamer from a fuel cell trainer and taking a short maintenance quiz that could ultimately knock time off of the relay race.
