Oasis Grand Opening

Welcome to the Family Oasis

FAIRCHILD AIR FORCE BASE, Wash. -- Family Member Programs Flight and the Airman and Family Readiness Center have partnered together to bring about a new room dedicated to Fairchild families. The Family Oasis was developed to provide families a place to relax, meet others and take part in fun and informative classes. Located in the Deel Community Center, the Family Oasis is open Monday through Friday from 9 a.m. - 5 p.m. The room is equipped with comfortable places for adults to relax and a fun area for young children to play.

A different activity takes place in the Family Oasis every day. In May we are featuring classes in baby massage and baby signing. There are two playgroups scheduled to meet. One of those groups is dedicated to those families with children with special needs. You can also take part in art activities for adults and children, as well as a book swap and story hour. You can choose to take part in the activities available or simply come to hang out. It is our wish that you spend a little time in our beautiful new room and make some new friends in the process.
