Col. Robert Thomas, 92nd Air Refueling Wing commander, Bo Smith, chief wing protocol and Tech. Sgt. Teresa Tillman, protocol also from the 92nd ARW, plants a tree at Fairchild’s white house. The tree planting ceremony took place on April 1 and celebrates Arbor Day, which is a nationally recognized observance that encourages tree planting and care. Fairchild was also named a Tree City USA community by the Arbor Day Foundation to honor its commitment to community forestry.
