Angels in the Air: 36th Rescue Squadron Airmen Answer the Call in Cliffside Rescue

U.S. Air Force Staff Sgt. Taten Swanson, 36th Rescue Squadron flight paramedic, was lowered from a UH-1N Huey near Riverview Bible Camp in Cusick, Washington, June 21, 2025. Members from the local fire departments, the Pend Oreille County Sheriff’s Office, Search and Rescue, U.S. Border Patrol and the Washington Department of Fish and Wildlife, and the 36th RQS all assisted in the successful rescue.
