Kitara Johnson-Jones (center), an emeritus honorary commander for the 92nd Air Refueling Wing, leads an exercise about motivation during a Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. Day observance luncheon at Fairchild Air Force Base, Washington, Jan. 15, 2025. Johnson’s message underscored the importance of consistently striving to do what is right, even when faced with challenging circumstances, and encouraged the audience to support their fellow Airmen and community members, even when they may not ask for assistance.
