A KC-130J Super Hercules, assigned to the Marine Aerial Refueler Transport Squadron (VMGR) 352, lands on the runway at Fairchild Air Force Base, Washington, Sept. 16, 2024. A detachment of six MV-22B Ospreys, assigned to the Marine Medium Tiltrotor Squadron (VMM) 163, and two KC-130J aircraft flew from Marine Corps Air Station Miramar, San Diego, California, to Fairchild AFB to conduct a deployment for training. The 1200-mile flight simulated a long-range flight in the Indo-Pacific region and achieved multiple qualifications for both KC-130J and MV-22B aircrew.
