U.S. Navy Lt. Cmdr. Collin McGeehan delivers remarks about his relationship with his father, Lt. Col. Mark McGeehan, who lost his life in the “CZAR 52” B-52H Stratofortress crash, during a commemoration ceremony at Fairchild Air Force Base, Washington, June 24, 2024. On June 24, 1994, CZAR 52, crashed while practicing maneuvers for an airshow. In addition to McGeehan, the crash claimed the lives of Col. Robert Wolff, Lt. Col., Lt. Col. Kenneth Huston and Lt. Col. Arthur “Bud” Holland. The 92nd Air Refueling Wing leadership team hosted the victims’ family members for a memorial service to commemorate the 30th anniversary of the crash.
