Fairchild personnel receive alternate commuting awards

Members of Team Fairchild were recognized in the 2018 Spokane County Commute Trip Reduction Program Way-To-Go Awards Luncheon at the Historic Davenport Hotel in Spokane, Washington, Feb. 7, 2019, for reducing their carbon footprint by using alternate transportation means, such as vanpool, walking or biking. Fairchild Air Force Base, along with 23 worksites in the region, were recognized as a silver work site at this year's event. The award is based off of worksites’ community involvement and efforts in encouraging employees to use commute alternatives. (U.S. Air Force photo/Senior Airman Jesenia Landaverde)
