92nd CES multi-agency aircraft response exercise

Senior Airman Logan Crytzer (bottom), 92nd Civil Engineer Squadron firefighter, Senior Airman Aaron Menhart (middle), 92nd CES firefighter, and Airman 1st Class Jordan Davis (top), 92nd CES firefighter, work together to put away one of the fire hoses after a training exercise May 11, 2016, at Fairchild Air Force Base, Wash. The crews responded to a simulated aircraft crash where an F-18 had mechanical issues and hit a nearby structure. “I found this exercise very helpful,” said Menhart. “I was able to practice a scenario we don’t do very often. This is a realistic emergency that could happen at any time. It’s important to train and be ready for that moment.” (U.S. Air Force photo/Airman 1st Class Taylor Bourgeous)
