Tugging at victory

Airmen from the 92nd Logistics Readiness Squadron eke out a victory as they pulled their way through the tug of war competition during Summer Sports Day Aug. 20, 2015, at Fairchild Air Force Base, Wash. Tug of war is a sport that directly puts two or more teams against each other in a test of strength: teams pull on opposite ends of a rope, with the goal being to bring the rope a certain distance in one direction. Events like Summer Sports Day are tools commanders use to improve unit morale and readiness. (U.S. Air Force photo/Staff Sgt. Benjamin W. Stratton)
