Fairchild engineers save AF nearly $8 million

Contractors work on the maintenance hangar’s roof June 18, 2015, at Fairchild Air Force Base, Wash. The contractors are repainting the roof of the hangar instead of replacing it, saving the Air Force nearly $8 million. The new paint will add 15 years to the life span of the roof.
