U.S. Air Force Survival School demonstration

A U.S. Air Force Survival School instructor uses a large fire hose to shower students inside the Modular Egress Training System April 1, 2015, at Fairchild Air Force Base, Wash. The METS simulates being inside an aircraft as it goes down in water, providing students with training on how to survive if they ever encounter a water survival situation. The METS courses are mandatory for most aircrew members, special forces and any other Airmen identified as needing the training. (U.S. Air Force photo/Airman 1st Class Taylor Bourgeous)
