Fairchild celebrates 20 years as “Tree City USA” on Arbor Day

Over the past 20 years, more than 2,500 trees and shrubs have been planted in the base’s parks and along streets in order to make the community a more pleasant place to live leading to Team Fairchild being recognized for 20 years as a Tree City USA community during the base’s annual Arbor Day celebration in Miller Park at Fairchild Air Force Base, Wash., April 25, 2014.
