Airmen remain vigilant, prepared to respond

Equipment is gathered on the floor of the 92nd Civil Engineer fire department prior to a training course at Fairchild Air Force Base, Washington, June 26, 2014. Two instructors from the Louis F. Garland Fire Academy traveled to Fairchild with all of the equipment needed to teach Air Force firefighters and other first responders a course on hazardous material incident response and technical training. Students are also taught how to research a chemical's effect on the body, reactions with other chemicals and proper identification of personal protective equipment. The Louis F.
