Security Forces captain awarded Bronze Star

FAIRCHILD AIR FORCE BASE, Wash. – Capt. Cassandra Bates, 92nd Security Forces Squadron, and Col. Robert Thomas, 92nd Air Refueling Wing commander, pose with a Bronze Star medal certificate signifying Captain Bates’ meritorious service while forward deployed to a combat environment. The captain received the medal for her service in Iraq from October 2007 – October 2008, where she was the Flight Commander for the 732nd Expeditionary Security Forces Squadron.
