SPOKANE, Wash. – The Fairchild Officers Spouses Club made a $1,000 donation to Shriners Hospitals for Children - Spokane here April 18. Hospital administrator Gene Raynaud and Shriners patient Damion Moore, 11, accept the donation from OSC charitable treasurer Marissa Glassburner and OSC president Jan Wood. Every donation is “really important to us because that’s how we run our operations, through donations and philanthropy – we don’t bill anybody,” said Mr. Raynaud, a retired Air Force colonel, adding that the average cost per child is $10,000. “This money will go right back into things the children need like equipment and healthcare necessities,” he said.
