FAIRCHILD AIR FORCE BASE, Wash. – Spc. Ryan Squires, Armed Services Blood Bank Center medical technician, processes a blood unit on April 24 at the Deel community center. The ASBC is located in the Madigan Army Medical Center at Fort Lewis, Wash. It is one of the largest hospitals on the west coast and aids in getting needed blood to deployed troops in theater.
