New Bod Pod enhances body composition measurement
FAIRCHILD AIR FORCE BASE, Wash. – Staff Sgt. Mike Torrieri, health and wellness technician at the Health and Wellness Center here, demonstrates the Bod Pod Body Composition Tracking system, a machine that accurately measures a person’s body fat percentage. The body composition machine arrived at Fairchild in April, and has proven to be an efficient, accurate measurement device; the Pod measures body composition in 10 minutes or less. Though Fairchild is one of only 13 Air Force bases currently using the machine, Alyson Kresser, HAWC dietician, says she can “see the Bod Pod becoming more popular.” (U.S. Air Force photo / Staff Sgt.
