FAIRCHILD AIR FORCE BASE, Wash. -- Faith Micklich peruses books at the Michael Anderson Elementary School book fair Wednesday. During the fair, librarian Diana Murphy and librarian aide Debbie Thomas assisted the students with finding books and making wishlists. Other events that accompanied the book fair included a Build-a-Book night Wednesday evening, during which children could become authors and create their own books, and Family Night Thursday evening, bringing families together in a reading environment.
