Pilot for a day

FAIRCHILD AIR FORCE BASE, Wash. -- Dylan Nickerson, 13, pilots a KC-135 in the flight simulator alongside Maj. Brian Eberling, 509th Weapons Squadron instructor pilot, during the 509th WPS’s first “Pilot for a Day” event May 3. Dylan was able to take part in the program due to coordination between the 509th WPS and the Candlelighters of the Inland Northwest, an organization that aids young cancer patients and their families.
