BALAD AIR BASE, Iraq – Brothers, Staff Sgt. Brad Boatman, right, and Army Sgt. Matt Boatman, had not seen each other in three years when they met at Balad Air Base, Iraq, Jan. 3. Sergeant Brad Boatman, who is deployed from Fairchild Air Force Base, Wash., is a 332nd Expeditionary Operations Support Squadron weather forecaster. His brother, who is deployed from Fort Campbell, Ky., is a 326th Combat Engineers noncommissioned officer in charge of a gun truck. The brothers are both from Amarillo, Texas.
