Recycling saves more than the enviroment

Jimmy Preston, Fairchild Recycling Center chief, observes loads of packing paper as it goes up a conveyer belt into the used paper tipper to be made into bales. He observes the load to ensure no extraneous items are mixed in. It takes six to eight tippers to make a 1,450 lb paper bale. (U.S. Air Force photo/Airman 1st Class Natasha E. Stannard)
