Fairchild implements new base entry system

Airman 1st Class Robert Rudolph, 92nd Security Forces Squadron, uses the Defense Biometric Identification System to scan DOD identification cards at the main entry control point Tuesday. DBIDS is a Department of Defense identity authentication and force protection tool used to scan bar codes and biometrics on DOD ID cards and Common Access Cards.
