Senior Airman Jonathan Mellon shows Ann Greer how to operate the boom of a KC-135 Stratotanker during a spouses orientation flight over Washington and Oregon Nov. 7, 2012. Fairchild spouses flew as part of an ongoing program designed to orient them with what it means to be an Airman here. Participants wore their respective husband’s flight suits adding to the overall realness of the experience. Mellon is a 93rd Air Refueling Squadron boom operator and Greer is the wife of Capt.
