De-ice, de-ice baby: Maintenance team keeps Fairchild flying

Members from the 92nd and 141st Aircraft Maintenance Squadrons apply de-icier and anti-ice chemicals to a KC-135 Stratontanker on the flight line at Fairchild Air Force Base, Wash., Jan. 24, 2013. It is essential to remove any snow or ice that may have formed on the aircraft as it can compromise the aircrafts performance during flight. (U.S. Air Force photo by Airman 1st Class Ryan Zeski)
