Airmen with the 92nd Aircraft Maintenance Squadron repair a KC-135 Stratotanker engine that was hit by a bird while in flight Feb. 8, 2011 at Grant County International Airport in Moses Lake, Wash. Earlier, the Airmen worked to remove the engine from the wing so they could perform in-depth maintenance on the part. Fairchild flying operations are scheduled to continue out of Grant County International Airport until November, which is when repairs to Fairchild’s runway are expected to be finished. Team Fairchild hosts Wreaths Across America commemoration ceremony
Col. Chesley Dycus, 92nd Air Refueling Wing commander, delivers the keynote speech during a Wreaths Across America ceremony in Spokane, Washington, Dec. 16, 2023.
