Fairchild Airmen support Spokane fundraising gala
SPOKANE, Wash. - Staff Sgt. Sherwin Tolentino, 92nd Civil Engineering Squadron, and Senior Airman Joshua Smith, 92nd Civil Engineering Squadron, decorate center-pieces, which will be used as decor at the Epicurean Delight, at the Convention Center here Nov. 5. Members of the 92nd Civil Engineering Squadron volunteered to help set up and decorate for the Epicurean Delight, which is a fundraising gala benefiting the Inland Northwest Blood Center. Members of the 92nd Civil Engineering Squadron rotated duties, which included cleaning glasses, unpacking supplies and decorating. Proceeds from Epicurean Delight 2009 will be used to advance the Inland Northwest Blood Center?s life saving mission with a portion of the funds designated to providing superior technologies and blood center education and training. Fairchild?s clinic hosts annual Halloween Haunt
FAIRCHILD AIR FORCE BASE, Wash. The 92nd Aerospace Medicine, bioenvironmental office members pose for a photo Oct. 28. These members participated in their haunted house which gave children and parents the opportunity to celebrate Halloween. The bioenvironmental shop transformed their work area to a mini house of horrors. This event is an annual event at Fairchild?s base clinic, which consisted of games, food, haunted house and candy that was distributed throughout the clinic from various offices. Staff Sgt. Airmen participate in the 92nd Logistics Readiness Squadron Combat Dining In that took place Jul 24 in building 1003. The event was hosted by the Maj. Breck Woodard, 92nd LRS commander. Special guests included Honorary Commander and spouse, Al and Rosalie French. The evening consisted of tribute a POW/MIA, dinner, trips to the obstacle course and GROG, and defending base camps from being infiltrated by would-be attackers with water-guns and water balloons.
