Fairchild spouse, SERE specialists teach young survivors
"Without a care in the world, the 8 year-old boy proceeded to paint my face as if he was Vincent Van Gogh painting the famed Starry Night with not a care in the world," said Dowry Thomas, Fairchild spouse. "It was as if he had forgotten about the pain he was in and knowing I had helped in that process filled my heart with love."

Deer have been bedding in this section of Fairchild’s nature trail located near the Survival Evasion Resistance and Escape side of the base of Fairchild Air Force Base, Wash.,. This bedding section is near hunting zone three, which is the largest hunting zone this archery season. Deer will usually bed in an area where they can see long distance with good amounts of terrain.
