Luke, a golden retriever, was adopted by Staff Sgt. Abigail Foster, Phoenix Star Program member, in 2011 in Spokane, Wash. Foster and her husband are in the process of training Luke to become a state certified service dog, however once you remove his gear, Luke acts just as any other dog.
