What do you do on a daily basis at Fairchild AFB?
I currently work in the Fitness Center. Specifically, I work in what is known as the “Fitness Assessment Cell”, where I am responsible for oversight of physical fitness testing for approximately 2,000 base members.

What do you enjoy about your job?
Gaining knowledge, making a positive impact in the U.S. Air Force and working with great friends. Dedicated people that, like me, consistently want to create great results in accomplishing any mission.

Why did you choose to serve in the military?
It gives me pride to serve my country and it gives me personal satisfaction to be able to use my skills for the benefit of our nation.

Family?
My wife, Rosa, is from Colombia and she is a writer.

How long have you been in the military?
7 years.

What are your greatest accomplishments?
Joining the Air Force, becoming a private pilot and obtaining my bachelors in aviation aeronautics.

What goals do you want to achieve or meet while at Fairchild AFB?
I want to commission and begin a career as an officer; to be able to serve my country with greater responsibility.

What are your hobbies?
I fly planes like the Cessna 172, read books and watch movies with my wife.

What are your best habits?
I exercise, eat healthy and stay connected with friends and relatives.

What is your favorite quote?

What is your favorite movie?
Top Gun.

Who is your favorite mentor and what did you learn from them?
My father-in-law. He taught me to never stop learning and to always have an impeccable work ethic. His exemplary actions also taught me about the importance of patience, hard work and perseverance.

If you could spend one hour with any person, who would it be and why?
Jesus Christ, because I want to learn more about his teaching, and ask a lot of questions.
