Airmen learn impacts of DUI
Tech. Sgt. Moriah Washburn, 92nd Security Forces Squadron physical security NCO, experiences a field sobriety test as Master Sgt. Chris Pepperman, 92nd SFS installation security NCO in charge, evaluates her performance during the DUI Fair at Fairchild Air Force Base, Washington, Sept. 5, 2014. DUIs are a concern across the Air Force and the statistics show it doesn’t seem to be getting better. Events like these allow Airmen to experience a simulated drunken state safely and under the guidance of security forces and Team Fairchild’s locally run Air Force Drug and Alcohol Abuse Program. Nearly 100 Participants were able to experience beer goggles during a field sobriety test, speak with legal and security forces representatives and take control of the impaired and distracted driving simulator.
