Bryant Felton Unit: 92nd Civil Engineer Squadron Duty title: Pavements and Equipment Craftsman What do you do on a daily basis at Fairchild Air Force Base? I complete work orders for the wing. I also investigate work orders and identify solutions to these problems. What do you enjoy about your job? I enjoy the diversity of my job and visually see the impact of it. One month I'm paving base streets and the next, I'm plowing snow off the runway. What is your greatest accomplishment? I was part of the base closure team at Manas Airbase in Kyrgyzstan. What goals do you want to achieve or meet while at Fairchild Air Force Base? I want to earn my Bachelor's degree. What is your favorite quote? "In order to succeed, your desire for success should be greater than your fear of failure." - Bill Cosby Who is your favorite mentor and what did you learn from him/her? My favorite mentor is Senior Master Sgt. Jacob Huston. He was a first sergeant at Mountain Home Air Force Base. He taught me about AFI 36-2618 & AFI 1-1 as an Airman 1st Class. I didn't have the best supervisory leadership in my career and he taught me the importance of ownership and development. He wasn't even my first sergeant, but he helped me understand my role in the Air Force. If you could spend one hour with any person, who would it be and why? I'd say my mother. She died when I was 2. It would help fill the void in my heart.
