'The Boom' Podcast entertains Team Fairchild Published Sept. 19, 2014 92nd Air Refueling Wing Public Affairs FAIRCHILD AIR FORCE BASE, Wash. -- Fairchild Air Force Base takes another step on its way to becoming more social and accessible to a worldwide audience on multiple different platforms this week with the release of their very first podcast. The Public Affairs office has launched a weekly Podcast called 'The Boom.' Every Friday Team Fairchild will be able to download or stream the latest in Air Force headlines, Fairchild news and other current topics of discussion. "It's designed to be informational and entertaining; info-tainment if you will," said Podcast host Staff Sgt. D.J. Ayres. Co-host, Tech. Sgt. Brian Bender, said he hopes listeners will get involved as well. "We want to keep it fresh and something Team Fairchild wants to listen to so that means we're going to want input as to what topics our listeners are interested in," Bender said. Those interested in listening to The Boom will find it available on the base's YouTube page and on iTunes.
