Fairchild implements 100 percent ID checks Published Oct. 7, 2014 92nd Security Forces Squadron FAIRCHILD AIR FORCE BASE, Wash. -- The 92nd Air Refueling Wing commander has implemented a 24/7 100 percent ID card check at all installation entry control points effective Oct. 8 at 6 a.m. This new policy will require all occupants of a vehicle to have proper DOD identification. This includes DOD common access cards, dependent ID cards, retiree ID cards, contractor badges or visitor passes from the installation. Children 16 years and older will need to have their dependent ID cards on them for entry and any visitors 16 years and older must get a visitor's pass before being allowed entry to the base. This may cause some traffic delays during the peak traffic hours, 6 to 8 a.m. and 4 to 6 p.m., so base officials request members plan accordingly during their daily commute. For questions or concerns, contact the security forces entry screening facility at (509) 247-5495/5492 or the security forces operations at (509) 247-3094.
