CMSAF McCoy visits Fairchild, shares experiences

FAIRCHILD AIR FORCE BASE, Wash.- --  Retired Chief Master of the Air Force James McCoy and his wife Kathleen visited Fairchild Air Force Base during a trip to Spokane for Veterans Day events Nov. 10 - 13.

During their visit, the McCoys toured facilities across Fairchild ranging from the Survival, Evasion, Resistance and Escape School to the maintenance hangars and Airman Leadership School classrooms.

While speaking with ALS students, the chief explained to Airmen the importance of taking advantage of every opportunity given to them and the influence supervisors have upon other careers in the Air Force.

He also hosted a base-wide all call inviting Team Fairchild Airmen to ask questions and spoke about his career and lessons he learned along the way.
