FAIRCHILD AIR FORCE BASE, Wash. -- More than 100 students, friends and military families greeted London Bowater, as she returned home after a year of receiving treatment for acute lymphoblastic leukemia in Seattle.

This month, Bowater, a second grader at Michael Anderson Elementary School received her last treatment and was able to come home since she is in remission.
