Team Fairchild recognized for Commute Trip Reduction program

FAIRCHILD AIR FORCE BASE, Wash --  Members of Team Fairchild were acknowledged for their contributions toward the Commute Trip Reduction program at the Way to Go Ceremony Jan. 29, 2015, at the Davenport Hotel in Spokane, Wash.

The CTR program has reduced traffic congestion, petroleum consumption and air pollution all while encouraging commuters to find alternative modes of transportation. Alternative modes of transportation include; bicycling, walking, riding the bus or vanpooling with fellow employees to work.
