Fairchild brings awareness to teen dating violence

FAIRCHILD AIR FORCE BASE, Wash. --  Members from the 92nd Medical Operations Squadron Family Advocacy office met with teen dependents from the 141st Air Refueling Wing Feb. 8, at the teen center here, as part of a Teen Dating Violence Awareness Month event.

Seventeen attendees participated in the three-hour event where there was interactive discussions, first-person reads of fatal incidents and the showing of a play about teen dating performed by local high school teenagers from Chewelah, Washington.

The session was one of various events scheduled to educate the base populace about teen dating violence during the month of February. For more information about teen dating violence, contact 509-247-2687.
