FAIRCHILD AIR FORCE BASE, Wash. -- The Fairchild Air Force Base Honor Guard kicked off the St. Patrick's Day Parade March 14, in downtown Spokane, Washington, as a means to strengthen community relations and build public trust and support.

The parade was organized by The Friendly Sons of St. Patrick, a local non-profit organization started in 1979, and is open for total community involvement. This annual parade highlights various organizations throughout Spokane County.
